The Design Library proudly announces the EXCLUSIVE release of RUSSIAN TEXTILES: Digital. This new DVD contains over 200 high-resolution jpeg images of the exquisite and unusual printed-cotton fabrics created and manufactured in Russia for export to Central Asia. The DVD is based on the book RUSSIAN TEXTILES: Printed Cloth for the Bazaars of Central Asia, by Susan Meller. (as seen in "O" the Oprah Magazine, January 2008 and Elle Decor, January-February 2008). Purchase of the DVD includes a license allowing for royalty and permission-free use of the designs.

THE CDs
The "Textile Designs Digital" CD collection consists of three CD-ROMs containing a total of 1763 period designs gleaned from the collection of the Design Library, and based on the book Textile Designs: Two Hundred Years of European and American Patterns.

The book was written as an informative reference for designers and design enthusiasts. However, designs may not be used from the book without written permission from the Design Library. By purchasing the "Textile Designs Digital" Collection you may use the designs without reproduction fees which would otherwise be incurred. The CDs include a license agreement, which grants the right to incorporate any of the designs for any purpose in your own work or commercial products royalty-free.

The designs are organized into 294 categories, with concise background information about each category. In addition, every design is identified as to its country of origin, date of manufacture, fabrication and end usage.

With the purchase of the CD-ROMs all the designs are free of permissions, royalties and reproduction fees.
